How About Some Portfolio Diversity

Diversify your portfolio! Wanna have your own personal "Terrapin Station" GRATEFUL DEAD museum in your house or business? I have six absolutely unique pieces painted by Stanley Mouse, Alton Kelly and Rick Griffin that I would like to sell. No one else has these, they could only have copies or reproductions! You could own: Tiger Rose, Cats Under the Stars, Egypt, Dylan and the Dead (Front & Back cover art), and Without a Net. Three of these are in the book, Art of Rock.
These were all bought by me from the artists themselves. I would prefer to see one owner continue to possess these icons. Of course they are valuable and therefore expensive. We are talking at least a quarter million for them all or 50K each. 100K for the Dylan and the Dead art by Rick even though they are painted on plastic. If you are a serious collector or know a potential buyer please contact me. See rough "snapshots" of these works among the photos on my tribe.net "home page". Check em out!

There is a new TV program this fall on the Discovery Channel , POP NATION. The format is similar to Antiques Roadshow but featuring collectables from the 1960s, '70s and '80s. Stanley Mouse gave the producers my info and I agreed to display these paintings on the show. They will be available on eBay at the same time as the episode airs, tentatively on 11/19/05. I am hoping for a big bidding war between Paul Allen, Bill Walton and a few other wealthy DEAD fanatics who want to diversify their portfolio and create a GD shrine room. Therefore I am not able to entertain offers for these items unlesss they do not attract suitably attractive auction bids. Perhaps a museum will want them enough to bid, who knows!
